Meet Paddock's Principal
I am thrilled to be the principal of Paddock Elementary! It is such an honor to work with the talented staff here in serving Milan’s youngest students! Before coming to Paddock, I taught at Symons Elementary. I enjoy facilitating teaching and working with children because my days are full of fun experiences and interesting challenges!
Although I’ve always lived in Michigan, I first came to this part of the state as a student at the University of Michigan. In 2000 I received Joint Degrees in English and Education. While in college I also competed on the Varsity Track & Field team and studied abroad in London, England. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Michigan, and my husband graduated from U of M’s medical school. We are a family of Wolverines!
My family is very important to me. We share many common interests: reading, running, traveling, playing sports and games, cheering for the Michigan Wolverines, and playing with my dog, Simon (who sometimes comes in to school to visit the students). We love spending time with our family, especially our nephew and nieces: Bruce, Cora, Annabelle & Noah. I'm especially close to my identical twin sister, Marcella. The pictures below show some of our favorite activities. See if you can tell my sister and me apart!
I am looking forward to another year working with the wonderful students and families in Milan!
